.strs.dat  isn't a fromat, it is likely an error in the file extension. For more info on the formats and how they work refer to this guide.

_strs.dat inside is string base on region only if you add new item code or monster code you need to add under _strs.dat also but you editing only then there no need to edit _strs.dat files

inside of _strs.data is region base string like us/ph/kor/chi/ etc.

You inspired me to unfold the untold mysteries of the CODE. Otherwise I am but no one. By bringing me in the strong binding FORCE of the CIRCLE,
I began to know the very reason, why I exist. And without a twofold deliberation I became a warrior, A WARRIOR OF THE CODE. And I will set the world FREE....

[filemask ="*_str.dat"]

struct ItemName
{
  u32 nBlocks;
  u32 nColumns;
  u32 nSize;
  child Languages [count=nBlocks];
}

struct Languages [preload = 1]
{
  u32 nCount;
  cstr [len=64] _ItemCode;
  cstr [len=64] Lang01;
  cstr [len=64] Lang02;
  cstr [len=64] Lang03;
  cstr [len=64] Lang04;
  cstr [len=64] Lang05;
  cstr [len=64] Lang06;
  cstr [len=64] Lang07;
  cstr [len=64] Lang08;
  cstr [len=64] Lang09;
  cstr [len=64] Lang10;
  cstr [len=64] Lang11;
}

_str files do not have all the items needed to make a complete list of ND files. Newer items are missing, so you would need to add those in.
