    More info would be helpful.... Normal map or new custom map would be an example. Also what operating system your using, we built it on Windows 10, it's uncertain if there are issues with older versions.

    Have you tried compiling the source code then running the program (With the project open in Visual Studio debug options then attach to process then select it)? If it crashes there should be a break point that shows the last line of code before the crash. That would help sort out the issue faster.

  5. Dude .spr is for icons of items. Not glow stuff. I'm 99% sure Palmas/KnightWalker/Diadalos by default doesn't use a .eff and though-fore below won't be useful for you. To get rid of white mark you may just need to 00 out section of the .msh for it. The section would be after the primary texture file, most likely be like ENV_something.dds

    Well said. Currently I don't have time to solve every single problem people post. I got my own set of problems I'm working on. People just don't see it because I make honest effort attempts at trying to resolve it myself first before asking for others. Then the rare times I do need help others are more inclined to help. I know its an awesome concept.

    Surprised you didn't do a SS of Bellato HQ around the same spot at the flems, then we can compare mob render sight ranges. You might notice ours is different if you didn't do that tweak as well to go with Extended Camera (assuming the logic for rendering hasn't changed).

    Here's something else to show other people who are interested what makes our Old School better than newer versions! maximum camera zoom distance has been increased. Radar will be getting an increase too, just hasn't been changed yet.

    I think part of the reason is Asia as a region may have mostly older computers so they can't play more modern games and or there isn't as many games entering their marketplace...

    Looks much better imo than the other one. Only thing I would think about changing is the where ID PW and the patch text is. I would of gone with ID and PW being Horizontal to each other with the Patch below them. [Still have the stuff between the Setup and Update buttons]

  20. A person messaged me asking for a guide to make their own EDF to DAT and back tool. I figured might of well just put it in the guide section as hopefully there are more people actually interested in writing code themselves. The basic process of the making the file comes down to knowing how to work with a math term known as XOR. The very first part of rf obfuscated filetypes is the password to use on the rest of the file. In C# here is an example of using Xor: public static void EncryptData(byte[] data, byte[] key) { if (data == null){ throw new ArgumentNullException("data");} if (key == null) { throw new ArgumentNullException("key"); } if (key.Length == 0) { throw new ArgumentOutOfRangeException("key can not be empty"); } for (int i = 0; i < 128; i++) // key.Length should be 128 for texture files, haven't checked .edf files yet { data[i] = (byte)(data[i] ^ key[i % key.Length]); } } data refers to all the values that come after the key. After calling EncryptData the data will be ready to be written out as a .dat file or any other file type /use it internally in your own program. To make an EDF again write the key first then the data after it has been re XORed.

    Try playing with the settings for using Static vs .dll libraries in the project and also build configurations (Don't remember the right one off hand but those do matter, the config for tools is not the same one used for building other rf projects. ). CMMIIW but that error is related to a newer static library than the compiler your using (Lib was compiled in a newer version than what your using).

    Just a note for false positives, the server to client check logic (baseline at least) came from an in progress tool of mine for making an item.edf. The tool hasn't had the time spent yet to handle these sections so the following very well could be false positives. When I handle the blocks in my tool any adjustments done will make it into Agony's tool too.
